Newsletters and the Parent & Student Activity/Parent Pointers Calendars from The Parent Institute help parents get involved with the education, discipline, responsibility and well-being of their children to promote student achievement and school success.
The content in this section provides a new edition of the Newsletter each month (September through May), as well as a 3-month Calendar every three months, so be sure to check back for each month's Newsletter!
Explore the Parent Involvement newsletter by visiting the Parent Involvement Connection page at Region 16 Education Service Center (Opens in new window).
Visit the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) page (Opens in a new window) to view the TAPR.
The TAPR report pulls together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, programs, and student demographics.
